Whether different color pastes have any effect on the curing speed and color migration? We will test and compare by adding silicone color paste and universal color paste into transparent silicone:

Prepare two sets of 100g transparent silicone RG-2660, adding 2% curing agent RG-B80 per each, marked as #1, #2, add 3% lemon yellow silicone color paste to #1, add 3% lemon yellow universal color paste to #2 ,

stir well, and print on two identical pieces of cloth, the printing thickness is 0.5mm, the baking temperature is 100 degrees Celsius,

 the two cloth pieces marked as #1, #2, and then compare the curing speed and its characteristics as below form:

It can be seen from the above test that under the same conditions, the addition of silicone color paste and universal color paste has basically no difference in other characteristics,

 but it influences the curing speed: the curing speed of universal color paste is slower than that of silicone color paste.

Next, select two pieces of the same black polyester fabric with easy color migration, print on the fabric with the above-prepared #1 and #2 mixture, marked as A and B, and conduct the color migration test:

To sum up, we can conclude that the addition of silicone color paste and universal color paste has no obvious effect on color rendering, coverage, hand feel, hardness and friction resistance, 

but has a certain effect on the curing speed for the silicone. The curing speed of the universal color paste is slower than that of the silicone color paste; besides, , as the silicone color paste itself has no free state oil, 

it help to block the way of color migration on the dark polyester cloth which is prone to color migration. From this sense, silicone color paste has better color anti-migration than the universal color paste.
